Current Opportunities
We are currently recruiting for several positions across our operations. All positions are based at our offices in London with travel to client sites across the UK as required.
Installation Engineers: We are seeking experienced installation engineers to join our growing team. You will be responsible for installing rainwater harvesting systems, flood mitigation measures, and sustainable drainage features at residential and commercial properties across the UK. Candidates should have experience in plumbing, drainage, or construction, with a willingness to learn new skills. Full training on our specific systems will be provided. Salary range: £32,000–£40,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including company vehicle, pension, and professional development opportunities.
Technical Sales Consultants: We are looking for sales professionals who combine technical knowledge with excellent communication skills. You will conduct site surveys, prepare quotations, and guide clients through the process of selecting and implementing the right water management solution for their needs. Candidates should have a background in construction, engineering, or environmental services, with strong interpersonal skills and a consultative sales approach. Salary range: £35,000–£50,000 plus commission and benefits.
Customer Support Specialists: Our customer support team is the first point of contact for clients with questions or issues. We are looking for patient, knowledgeable individuals who can diagnose technical issues over the phone and provide clear, helpful guidance. Experience in customer service is essential, and technical knowledge of plumbing or water systems is desirable. Salary range: £24,000–£30,000 plus benefits.
System Design Engineers: We need skilled engineers to design rainwater harvesting and flood mitigation systems for our clients. You will work closely with our sales consultants to develop solutions that meet client requirements while optimising performance and cost. Candidates should hold a degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering and have experience in hydraulic design or a related field. Salary range: £38,000–£50,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
Apprenticeships and Graduate Programmes
Rainwater Doctor is committed to developing the next generation of water management professionals. We offer apprenticeship positions for people starting their careers and graduate programmes for those who have completed their studies.
Our apprenticeship programme combines hands-on experience with formal training, leading to nationally recognised qualifications. Apprentices work alongside experienced team members, learning the practical skills needed for a career in water management. We welcome applications from school leavers, career changers, and anyone looking to start a rewarding career in a growing industry.
Our graduate programme offers recent graduates the opportunity to gain experience across all aspects of our business, including design, installation, project management, and business development. Graduates follow a structured development plan with mentorship from senior team members and a clear pathway to professional registration.

Our Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is designed to be fair, transparent, and thorough. Shortlisted candidates are invited for an initial interview, either in person or by video call, where we discuss your experience, skills, and motivation. Successful candidates progress to a second stage that may include a technical assessment, practical task, or presentation depending on the role. Final-stage candidates meet with senior team members before an offer is made.
We aim to complete the recruitment process within four weeks from application to offer. We provide feedback to all candidates who reach interview stage and are committed to a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
